Main fields of research:

Socio-cultural aspects of the relation of animal and man, 4th–1st millennium B.C: analysis of animal bone findings from archaeological excavations regarding social structures, structures of domestic animal husbandry, modes of economy, and environment.

Regions: Eastern Mediterranean, Mesopotamia (Syria, Lebanon, Turkey).
