Since September 2001 collaborator at the Research Centre "Difference and Integration" in Halle • July 2000–August 2001: Scholar of a postgraduate course on "Anatolia and its neighbors" in Tübingen • June 2000: Begin of PH.D. work in Classical Archaeology • 2000 MA thesis "The "Spinario" (Dornauszieher) – an ancient motif in Christian context" • 1992–2000: Study of Art History, Classical Archaeology, Art History of Byzantium and Early Christian Archaeology in Halle and Naples with focus on the reception of antiquity; Greeks and indigenous people in Southern Italy; Settlements of the 1st millenium BC in the Southern Caucasus • 1999 Greek Language exam • Participation in excavations in Paestum (Southern Italy) 1996, 1997, 1998 (guided by Prof. E. Greco, Neapel) and in Eastern Georgia (1997, 1998, 2000, 2002) (guided by Prof. A. Furtwängler).
